Scum Sucking Frauds!

Okay so it's been some time since I started a good rant so here goes. I know things are crazy in this world and trust me, I'm not the most trusting soul when it comes to people I don't know personally but here is what happened to me.

I recently started selling products of a very well known beauty business (which for some reason they won't let me use their name unless it's in my title). So here I am getting new customers, meeting lots of new people, having a fantastic time. I decide to open on online store with this company. I set up the store and email account and things start rolling. I have a great response all things considering for my first month. Then the other day I get an email from someone who happened to have the same name as a woman I used to work with.

This email was asking me to process an order for 100 bottles of perfume for this person and then have the shippment sent to me. They would then pay by credit card to me personally and send me shipping labels to have the items shipped to their "client" at a different address.

At first I thought this was great and since I knew the person I was excited. Well, after a double check with the person I used to work with (just because I was curious because things just seemed weird with this order) I found out it was not her. So I emailed this customer back and told them they could place this order online at my store and have the items sent directly to a different address. They still emailed and wanted me to get the orders shipped to me and pay me.... MAJOR red flags here. So I had to get a bit more forceful in my last response just a moment ago and let them know that I would not process an order via an email from someone I did not know. Why would anyone accept credit card orders from someone they had no idea who they were. Yes, this company allows me to process credit cards, but since I don't know the person and do not have access to visible see this credit card, I wouldn't touch this order with a 10 foot pole!

This brings me to my rant - so if any of the Scum Sucking Frauds out there happen upon this blog someday, remember this. You may scam someone but there will be that one person who is smarter than you, and yes, they will find a way to track you down and make you pay for all those people you do scam. I'm on a mission today, I will find a way to report this activity to someone.

If anyone has had this happen to them, please let me know. Lets see what we can do on our end. We have to make this whole wide internet world safe, and if we work at making it great as much as these scam artist do their thing I know we can win this war!

So for right now, keep on keepin' - Out!

Missing a Deceased Person

I am by far sad and full of emotion this morning. As I am missing the person that was more than just a parent to me, but my best friend. I know that saying gets used far more often than it should but in my case I know that she was my best friend. I miss having those momments that everyone takes for granted. The small chats about how our days are, and sometime when the phone rings I still long to hear her voice.

It's been two years since she passed away holding my hand and yet I can close my eyes and still smell her, and feel her cold fingers held tight in my hand. She died of cancer and I'll tell you that it was such a hard ordeal for our entire family to watch. She was so strong for so long and when it finally took complete control over her we watched her go down hill in what now seems like a blink of an eye.

I will do my best to live my life and continue to love those in my family and my fellow man as my mother taught me to love. I will love them all my heart and always be there for them even when it's the hardest thing you could ever ask of yourself.

I know that my being there for my mother made her stronger when she was at her weakest momment as she did not want to leave her family. I also know that she is in a much better place.

Until the next post, keep on keepin' - Out!

Grass Is Always Greener

For those who say the grass is not always greener on the other side just may not be viewing the grass from the same side as you are. Something to keep in mind next time you are going to make a decision regardless of how huge or small it may be.
I can speak from experience on this subject. Yes, I'm sure it all depends on what point of view you look at it as to whether my decisions have been productive or not, however, I can say that all my decisions have worked themselves out, and so will yours.
You might be reading this today and asking yourself what brought you to my page and made you read this article. Well, I can tell you that if you are reading this and you have a big decision, just make it! Do the pro's and con's and then just make the decision. After all, it's only one decision and you need to be more decisive on things! It's not going to ruin your life, you have your whole life to do that, it's just going to either make you work harder (which is NOT a bad thing) or it will make things easier for you. Either way, you're on the right track, your track.
Stay focused, don't let anyone bring you down either. You can climb any mountain and cross any sea, you can do what is right for your life. You may wonder what someone else thinks, but don't make your life revolve around making decision that someone else would want you to make. It's your life not theirs and no matter how hard it is, they made their decisions and now it's your turn.
Don't always do things the way you saw someone else do them. Put your own twist on everyday things. Make your bed at a different time during the day, or take out the trash differently. Find away to make your life yours even if you have to start out with little things.
I will be here to give you advise or even encouragement, but remember, don't do exactly what I suggest, these are only suggestions. You make your life yours. Go live your life, don't let your life just live.
Anyway, just my today thoughts and remember....

Keep on keepin' - Out.

Succeed at Failure.

Can anyone succeed at failure? A random thought that you may not have considered today but think about it. If anyone fails do you think that they truely started out to do so? I for one think that some people set themselves up for failure but I have to ask myself do they intended deep down to truely fail?

I guess it depends on the subject or situation at hand. Have you ever failed at something? Anything? Many things? Did you intended to do it? Are you satisfied with yourself now? Did you make better choices from your past failures? I'd like to think I have done so, I have failed and learned from it. I just often pondered what sort of things complete strangers have failed at. Give me an idea of just one thing you have failed at?

I'm writing a book and I'm sick!

Okay this blog is total rambling today. I have a sinus infection so my head is about to bust. I tend to get migrains from time to time so during the fall it's especially hard for me with all the allergies from the cutting of corn and such...With that information I bet you're narrowing it down where I'm from...ummm?

I have started writing a book and that takes up some spare time. I think I'm enjoying it right now, I say right now because as soon as I get writers block I figure I'll move onto a another new hobby for a while.

Oh - I had a wonderful new helpful hint I happened onto this morning. Do you have any of those artifical flowers sitting around the house? I do, mainly because of allergies but also because real flowers always die, artifical flowers are very hard to kill. Anyway, I do not like dusting them and today noticed that if I took the flowers and rubbed with pretty good with the swifter duster they looked good as new. I almost feel like I should start writing helpful hint articles. Maybe I'll be the next Heloise, who knows? Anyway I just thought I'd share that information just in case it comes in handy for anyone. If you'd like to leave me a comment or something so I know you tried it I'd appreciate it.

Sometimes I wonder what someone is doing on the other side of the world right at this very minute. Are they scared, sleeping or just hanging out having a drink with some friends? If you are out there reading this and happen to be doing something great or not so great, just let me know. I'm very interested in you. My blog needs as much interaction as I can possibly get. I want to meet people, interesting people. You may not think you're interesting but I know I'll find something interesting about you. I'm here to be your webfriend.

Well I better go read the daily headlines and see what I can get depressed about now. I'll be postin' again soon.

Until then, Keep on Keepin' - Out!

To Sale or Not to Sale

Okay I have a question, or questions....

Who sells things on the Internet? I'm talking, really sells things. I want to get in on this Internet selling "craze". What items are hot sellers? All of this interests me. Sure everyone wants to make extra cash, but I feel I'm more interested in all the components of this venture. Like how much time do you invest? How often do you change products? Do you buy wholesale or go to auctions? I have tons of questions and I want to really understand all of this.

Does it benefit you to sell on EBay or other types of Internet sites? Should you create your own website for selling? I think the world in general goes to the computer for things that they need, want or just impulse buying. I know if I had the money I'd be shopping online all the time.

I want this site to be about meeting people, learning from them and introducing everyone who gathers here to each other. So if you don't want to be "known" just create a false self and let's all chat and communicate. I think we can all learn from each other. We all of things we can teach others and I think the world will be a better place once we all start sharing rather than being so politically correct that we hold our thoughts, feelings and life back.

Today in the News.

What else can we discuss that is more depressing than our economy? It seems every day some company needs bailed out by the government. Today the Dow drop over 300 points. How much more can we take? What's next? What kind of changes have you done lately? Have you started riding your bike or walking places? If not, please consider this, because as long as we continue to do the things we always have we are going to be going down faster than ever. Gas is not cheap at $3.44 a gallon (that's if your lucky to find it for that now). Yes, for those of you that say the prices always go up and go back down, think about that statement.....I'm sorry but when I graduated from College gas prices were at an all time high then at what - $1.29 ?????

What reading books? Why don't we as American's sit down and read more? Why aren't we buying more books, giving more books as gifts and for goodness sake - reading more to the children? Books are fantastic ways to bring ones imagination to life.

Music is in almost everyones daily life in one way or another. You hear it on commercials, before programs on TV and for those of us who love to listen to any and all music, you have radio. So why don't we spend more of our focus on creating more outlets to let our country's musical talent be showcased.

Just a couple of things I'm thinking about while reading the breaking news. Sorry to ramble, keep those eyes peeled - I'll be postin again soon..... : )
